About Jean A. Bluestein, M.D.

Dr. Bluestein was born in New Orleans, Louisana and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. She graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology. She then completed her Masters of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where she graduated cum laude.

After graduating from the University of Nebraska Medical Center School of Medicine in 1984, she trained in both Internal Medicine and Dermatology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.

Dr. Bluestein is a Fellow of the American Board of Dermatology and is affiliated with the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the American Medical Association, the Texas Medical Association and the Bexar County Medical Society.

About Marilyn B. Swartz, B.S.N., R.N.

Marilyn Bluestein Swartz, B.S.N, R.N. was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. She attended the University of Oklahoma and graduated cum laude from the University of Texas Health Science Center School of Nursing at San Antonio in 1989. She has received specialized training in microdermabrasion, collagen implantation, and sclerotherapy.

Marilyn has been elected to Sigma Theta Tau, the International Honor Society of Nursing and to The American Society of Dermatologic Surgery as a surgical assistant. She is a member of the Texas Nurses Association and The Dermatology Nurses Association.
